The Strategic Business Development Manager will lead on complex, high-value NHS sales cycles, identifying new opportunities and co-designing digital solutions that improve the patient journey.
 
This is not transactional sales — it's strategic, stakeholder-led work with real-world outcomes.
 
Role Highlights
 
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles with NHS Trusts, ICSs, and ICBs (Deal sizes £500k - £3m)
  • Build trusted, senior-level relationships across new and existing healthcare accounts
  • Run discovery sessions, shape digital health proposals, and deliver tailored demos
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, present, and negotiate custom solutions
  • Share market intelligence to inform product and go-to-market strategy
 
You Will Need
 
  • Proven success in long-cycle, consultative sales (ideally healthcare or public sector)
  • Strong NHS knowledge, including procurement and digital transformation agendas
  • A persuasive, adaptable communication style suited to senior clinical and operational stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen to craft value-led deals
  • Tenacity and drive: proactive, resilient, and comfortable picking up the phone
