The story of Beyond Retail

Founded in 2024, Beyond Retail is a fast-growing ecommerce business focused on strengthening its commercial and digital performance. 

As the company scaled, it became clear that specialist marketing hires were required to unlock the next phase of growth. Their Commercial Director was tasked with building a high-performing team capable of delivering growth. The goal was clear: build a future-ready marketing engine for 2026 and beyond. 

Challenge: Building three specialist roles simultaneously during a transformation phase

Hiring three very different roles at the same time is an incredibly challenging and time-consuming task. With no internal talent team to support, Commercial Director, Paul Lewis, was looking to engage the following roles: 

  • Affiliate Marketing Manager  
  • Ecommerce Executive 
  • B2B Trade Marketing Manager  

Having exhausted his own personal network, Paul decided to engage our specilist marketing recruiters to find the talent required to scale. As some time had passed since the searches began, time was now of the essence.

All three roles were successfully filled. Paul completed his 2025 hiring objectives and established a strengthened marketing function ready for the next stage of growth. The team is now set up to deliver commercially in 2026.
