MyndYou are a group of clinicians, technical experts, and innovators on a mission to pair simple but sophisticated technology and actionable data with a human touch to keep seniors safe, engaged, and healthy at home.
We first started working with MyndYou in 2023 when they were searching for their first executive marketing hire. The role was put on hold at the time and picked back up with us in 2024 when they received new investment for their HealthTech SaaS tool, MyEleanor. So far, we have placed one role within the business – a VP of Marketing.
MyndYou had never pursued marketing before this initial VP of Marketing hire. Having built their exciting new HealthTech product, MyEleanor, they needed a strategic marketing leader to position the product in the market. As their first marketing hire, the business chose to bring on a recruitment agency on a retained basis to lead the process.
The VP of Marketing role had a core focus in product marketing, so specialist recruiter, Jason Goodwin, was best positioned to support the company. Working closely with the CEO, who the role would report into, he took the time to understand their recruitment challenges.
In this case, the job description was incredibly niche. Not only did they need someone specifically from the HealthTech industry, but they were also looking for someone with a balance of product marketing and corporate marketing experience. This was further complicated by the fact they wouldn’t have any marketing support immediately. This meant they needed someone senior, who could lead the strategy, but who would also be willing to get involved with the execution.
Speed was important for MyndYou, so we ensured that the entire recruitment process lasted just six weeks. This included the retained search and interviews.
