About the Company

This is a leading provider of technical, energy, and facilities services across the UK — working with clients in critical infrastructure, healthcare, data centres, defence, manufacturing, education, and commercial environments.
The organisation delivers engineering, energy optimisation, built-environment solutions, and asset maintenance, helping major public and private-sector customers improve performance, reduce carbon, and operate more efficiently.
Financially stable, innovation-focused, and part of a wider international group, the company is continuing to expand its UK footprint — which means increased demand for a high-performing bids function.

The Role

We’re looking for a Bid Coordinator who thrives on organisation, clarity, and helping teams win work.
This is a remote-first role, ideal for someone who’s confident managing multiple deadlines, engaging with subject-matter experts, and shaping proposals that are clear, accurate, and compelling.
You’ll support end-to-end bid activity — from managing the bid library, coordinating inputs, and formatting documents, to supporting drafting, version control, and compliance checks. You’ll become the glue that keeps the bid process on track.
It’s a great step for someone wanting to grow into a Bid Manager role within a large, established, engineering-led organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate bid timelines, submissions, and administrative tasks to keep proposals on schedule.
  • Support drafting and editing responses, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Manage bid documentation, templates, and content libraries.
  • Work with technical SMEs, operational teams, and commercial leads to gather inputs.
  • Format, proof, and quality-check documents for compliance and brand alignment.
  • Assist with portal uploads, clarifications, and submission requirements.
  • Help embed best practice across the bid lifecycle.
About You You’ll bring:
  • Experience in bids, proposals, or a similar coordination role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and document-management skills.
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Confidence engaging with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • A proactive, positive attitude — someone who enjoys helping teams deliver their best work.
Experience in engineering, FM, energy, or built-environment sectors is beneficial but not essential.

Why This Role?
  • Remote-first flexibility with the backing of a major, well-known engineering and energy services group.
  • Clear career path into Bid Management.
  • Exposure to high-value, high-impact bids across essential UK sectors.
  • Join a supportive, well-structured bids team that invests in tools, training, and development.
