Location: Hybrid (Midlands-based office)
Salary: £50,000-£70,000

You'll take ownership of the end-to-end bid lifecycle, whilst also reviewing and improving the systems, processes and governance that underpin successful submissions. Acting as an internal consultant, you'll coach subject matter experts, embed best practice across the business and create a consistent, high-quality approach to bidding.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of bids, tenders, framework applications and expressions of interest from opportunity identification through to submission.
- Establish and embed a robust bid process, introducing governance, bid planning and clear responsibilities across the business.
- Review existing bid systems and tools, recommending improvements that increase efficiency, visibility and collaboration.
- Develop qualification processes, supporting effective bid/no-bid decision making and ensuring resources are focused on the right opportunities.
- Partner with technical teams and senior stakeholders to produce compelling, client-focused submissions that clearly articulate capability and value.
- Act as the organisation's subject matter expert on bidding best practice, advising colleagues on procurement requirements, evaluation criteria and effective response writing.
- Create, maintain and continuously improve a central bid library, including case studies, CVs, methodology responses, evidence and supporting documentation.
- Introduce quality assurance processes to ensure all submissions are compliant, persuasive and consistently presented.
- Monitor pipeline activity, reporting on opportunities, submissions, success rates and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
- Capture and analyse bid feedback, using insights to refine future submissions and improve win rates.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, helping the business mature its approach to business development and bidding over time.

You'll Bring
- Proven experience managing complex bids within the property, construction, consultancy or wider built environment sectors.
- Strong understanding of public and private sector procurement and tendering processes.
- Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into compelling, customer-focused responses.
- Experience developing bid processes, templates, content libraries or governance frameworks.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.
- Confidence influencing senior leaders and technical specialists without direct management responsibility.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to review existing ways of working and implement more effective solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, compliant submissions.
- Experience within a property consultancy, surveying practice or professional services environment.
- Knowledge of procurement portals and framework agreements.
- Experience implementing or optimising CRM, bid management or workflow systems.
- APMP accreditation or equivalent bid management qualification.
