Are you a confident, proactive Bid Manager with a flair for persuasive writing and project management? A leading, independent insurance and reinsurance specialist is looking for a Bid Manager to join its high-performing Marketing and Business Development team.

The Role
  
As Bid Manager, you will take ownership of the proposal process from start to finish — leading on RFPs, RFIs, and presentations that help win new business and retain existing accounts. You’ll work closely with broking teams, subject matter experts, and leadership to produce high-quality, client-centric responses that reflect the firm’s values and capabilities.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the coordination and delivery of high-value tenders and proposals.
  • Translate technical input into compelling, client-focused copy.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to shape win themes and bid strategy.
  • Manage bid timelines, compliance, and quality control across submissions.
  • Help evolve bid content, templates, and best practice tools.
About You
  • Previous experience in a bid/proposals role, ideally within insurance, financial services, or a regulated environment.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Exceptional written English with the ability to simplify complex content.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and juggling multiple priorities.
  • A positive, collaborative approach and a keen eye for detail.
