Bid Manager
 Location: London (Hybrid, up to 2 days per week in office)

Salary: £60,000


We’re looking for a Bid Manager to join a global FM provider and bid team to help drive significant growth. This is a high-profile, hybrid role supporting global bids - including PQQs, RFIs, and RFPs - throughout the bid lifecycle, from strategy development and content creation to submission and post-award mobilisation.

We’re looking for someone who can translate client objectives into persuasive, customer-focused documents and presentations, while collaborating with subject matter experts, operational teams, and senior leadership across multiple time zones.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  

  • Manage and produce tender submissions, coordinating inputs from SMEs, commercial, legal, and operational teams.
  • Develop win strategies, bid plans, and resource schedules.
  • Analyse tender documents to identify client drivers and objectives.
  • Write, edit, and shape compelling content, including case studies, CVs, and standard library content.
  • Maintain the Bid Content Library and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coach contributors and ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with Macro’s brand.
  • Track bid progress and escalate risks as needed.

  

What We’re Looking For:

  

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong eye for detail and persuasive writing.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent bids and working to tight deadlines.
  • Creativity, design flair, and the ability to translate business strategy into content.
  • Strong organisational, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexible attitude and enthusiasm for a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign experience desirable.
  • Experience using AI bidding tools is an advantage.

  

Qualifications & Experience:

  

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a bidding-focused role.
  • APMP Practitioner Level (or at least APMP Foundation) advantageous.
  • Experience in Facilities Management bidding or international FM markets is desirable.
