Are you a skilled bid professional with a passion for crafting compelling responses and winning new business? We’re seeking a Bid Manager to join a growing commercial law firm working with public, private and third-sector clients across the UK and internationally.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through to submission and follow-up. You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality, client-focused proposals that help the firm stand out in competitive tenders. Working closely with colleagues across Legal, HR, Finance and Operations, you’ll ensure responses are not only compliant and accurate, but genuinely persuasive.

The role
- Manage bids from start to finish, including drafting, editing and coordinating responses across public and private sector opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather insights, shape strong value propositions and produce high-impact written content
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and consistently high standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of bid processes, templates and best practice as the firm continues to grow
- Proven experience managing bids and tenders, ideally within a professional services or legal environment
- Strong written communication and project management skills
- Comfortable working at pace and managing competing deadlines
- A collaborative, proactive approach with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- A permanent role based in Cardiff with hybrid working
