About the Company
A leading major construction and infrastructure contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Bidding Manager due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful business development and bid team, managing the end-to-end tender process across major construction and infrastructure projects throughout the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating competitive, high-quality submissions while driving bid strategy, stakeholder engagement and programme management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Bid Director, coordinate and manage the full end-to-end bid process to deliver high-quality and competitive tender submissions
  • Develop win strategies through research, tender analysis, workshops and stakeholder collaboration
  • Produce tender programmes, bid plans, key messaging and storyboard content
  • Manage and coordinate tender team members and internal stakeholders throughout the submission process
  • Support client relationships and manage formal communication processes during live tenders
  • Coordinate submission development, writing and review processes to ensure detailed, structured and compelling responses
  • Ensure compliance with tender instructions, bid strategies and internal governance procedures
  • Follow and implement company tender management processes and procedures
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business environment, operational capabilities and internal governance processes to support bid strategy development
  • Prepare communications, reporting documents and bid proposal content where required
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of business development and bid databases
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a Bid Manager within the construction, engineering or architectural sector
  • Strong understanding of bid management, tender strategy and programme coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead workshops and manage stakeholder engagement
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Strong leadership, coordination and motivational skills
  • PMP, PMQ or equivalent project management qualification is highly desirable
