Bid Manager
London / Edinburgh / Glasgow | Hybrid Working
£50,000-£53,000

I’m currently supporting a highly respected UK consultancy as they look to add a Bid Manager to their growing commercial function.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, collaborative bids team within a business that’s known for its strong culture, flexible working environment and long-term investment in its people. The organisation operates across pensions, investments and financial services, delivering genuinely meaningful work that helps clients make important financial decisions.

The role itself offers a strong mix of strategic bid leadership, stakeholder engagement and hands-on proposal development. You’ll take ownership of complex tenders from qualification stage through to submission and pitch prep, working closely with senior leaders, subject matter experts and business development teams to shape compelling, high-quality proposals.

The role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full bid lifecycle across RFPs, RFQs and re-tenders
  • Developing winning strategies aligned to client needs and evaluation criteria
  • Producing high-quality written proposals, presentations and pitch content
  • Coordinating input from senior stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Managing bid timelines, governance and submission processes
  • Ensuring all submissions are compliant, engaging and professionally presented
  • Supporting continuous improvement across bid processes and best practice
  • Leveraging AI tools and technology to improve efficiency and quality within the bid process
  • Supporting pitch preparation and presentation activity where required

  • Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working on complex bids within professional services or consultancy environments

  Why join?
  • Strong reputation and established market presence
  • Supportive, people-first culture with excellent staff retention
  • Hybrid and genuinely flexible working model
  • Clear investment in professional development and progression
  • Competitive salary and profit share scheme
  • Wellbeing support, volunteering days and additional lifestyle benefits
  • Opportunity to work on strategic, high-value bids within a collaborative environment
