The Opportunity As Bid Manager, you'll take ownership of strategic tenders from qualification through to submission and presentation. Working closely with Partners, subject matter experts and business development teams, you'll help shape winning strategies, create compelling client-focused content and ensure every submission reflects the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end bid lifecycle across complex RFPs, RFQs and strategic tender opportunities.
- Develop winning strategies that align solutions to client challenges, objectives and evaluation criteria.
- Partner with senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and business development teams to shape compelling propositions.
- Produce high-quality bid responses, presentations and pitch materials that differentiate the business from competitors.
- Project manage multiple concurrent opportunities, ensuring submissions are delivered on time, to budget and fully compliant.
- Facilitate qualification reviews, kick-off meetings, bid workshops and submission sign-off processes.
- Coordinate input from technical specialists and senior stakeholders, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment throughout.
- Work closely with design and proposal support teams to deliver visually engaging, client-ready submissions.
- Drive continuous improvement across bid processes, tools, governance and win strategies.
- Utilise AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency, insight generation and content development.
- Manage submissions through procurement portals and tender platforms.
- Support pitch preparation and presentation coaching where required.
You'll likely bring:
- Proven experience managing bids and proposals within a professional services, consultancy or similarly complex environment.
- Strong understanding of bid management best practice across both new business and re-tender opportunities.
- Experience leading strategic pursuits from qualification through to submission.
- Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical content into compelling client-focused messaging.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Confidence influencing senior leaders and facilitating collaborative bid discussions.
- Experience working within regulated or public sector procurement environments.
- APMP accreditation, or a commitment to working towards qualification.
