Our client is a successful and well-established architecture practice looking to appoint an experienced Bid Manager to join its London studio. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for architecture to take ownership of high-value bids and play a key role in the practice's wider work-winning strategy.
Working closely with Partners, the Head of Bids and the wider work-winning team, you'll manage and develop key bids from start to finish, while supporting the longer-term strategic ambitions and positioning of the practice within the industry.
You'll join a collaborative and supportive bids team in a fast-paced environment, where you'll have the opportunity to use your creative, organisational and communication skills to deliver high-quality bid submissions and help drive new business success.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end bid process in line with internal bid procedures and workflows.
- Lead the development and production of high-quality bid submissions, using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
- Review bid information to ensure submissions are accurate, consistent and delivered to a high standard.
- Manage and maintain the internal bid library, including staff CVs, project case studies and photography.
- Analyse bid performance, including wins and losses, and use insight to support future work-winning strategies.
- Implement work-winning strategies to secure new projects across a range of sectors.
- Track and communicate regional opportunities across a variety of channels.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior Partners, to develop proposals and presentation materials.
- Identify and implement improvements and efficiencies across the bid process.
- Collaborate closely with the wider work-winning team.
- Provide line management and workload oversight for the Bids Team.
- Previous experience managing the end-to-end bid process, ideally within an architectural practice or the wider built environment.
- Proven experience in team leadership and line management, including workload management and supporting team development.
- Experience working with senior management and confidently managing stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent Adobe InDesign skills, alongside strong bid writing and editing capabilities.
- Strong time management, organisation and ability to manage multiple bids with competing deadlines.
- Confident using procurement portals and a variety of tender submission methods, with a strong understanding of frameworks and procurement processes.
