As Bid Writer, you'll take ownership of the written content for strategic bids, tenders and RFP responses. Working alongside senior business development professionals and subject matter experts, you'll create persuasive, tailored submissions that clearly communicate value and differentiate the business in competitive procurement processes.
This is a writing-led role, ideal for someone who enjoys crafting high-quality content rather than focusing on graphic design or document production.

Key Responsibilities
- Write high-quality responses for RFPs, ITTs, tenders and new business proposals from initial brief through to submission.
- Translate technical and specialist content into clear, engaging and client-focused messaging.
- Develop compelling proposal narratives aligned to client objectives and evaluation criteria.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and refine content.
- Ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant and delivered to the highest standard.
- Manage multiple bid deadlines, maintaining version control and coordinating the submission process.
- Capture feedback from tender outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of proposal content, messaging and best practice across the team.
- Support the creation of pitch presentations and executive summaries, ensuring consistency of messaging throughout.
You'll bring previous experience writing bids, proposals or tender responses within a professional services or financial services environment and be confident working with senior stakeholders in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.
You'll also have:
- Experience writing successful bids, tenders or RFP responses.
- Outstanding written communication and editing skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills and confidence using PowerPoint from a content perspective.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality under tight deadlines.
