Role Overview
The Bid Writer will play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities by crafting compelling and high-quality bid proposals. Collaborating closely with various departments, the successful candidate will ensure that all submissions are tailored to client requirements and reflect the company's strengths and capabilities.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, from initial expression of interest to final submission.
  • Develop and write persuasive content for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights for each bid.
  • Ensure all submissions are compliant with client specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain and update a library of bid content, case studies, and standard responses.
  • Analyse feedback from clients to continuously improve the quality and success rate of bids.
  
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or rental solutions sectors.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong project management abilities, capable of handling multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe InDesign is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid working environment.
