The Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-driven Bidding Manager to lead the development of high-quality, persuasive proposals and tenders. This role is writing-focused, with a strong emphasis on producing compelling, client-focused content that differentiates us in a competitive marketplace. You will coordinate bid activity, work closely with subject matter experts, and ensure submissions are accurate, consistent, and aligned with our brand and value proposition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bid Writing: Draft, edit, and tailor high-quality responses that clearly articulate our services, capabilities, and value to clients.
  • Bid Management: Coordinate the end-to-end bid process, from initial opportunity review through to final submission.
  • Collaboration: Engage with technical experts, account managers, and senior stakeholders to gather content and shape winning strategies.
  • Content Development: Build and maintain a library of bid content, ensuring responses are consistent, up-to-date, and compelling.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and refine proposals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Process Management: Apply best-practice approaches to ensure deadlines are met and all aspects of the bid are well-coordinated.
About You

This role is ideal for a strong bid writer who also has the organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will have:
  • Proven experience in writing and managing bids, ideally within professional services, facilities management, or consultancy.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • The confidence to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and extract key information.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  • Resilience under pressure and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
