Our client is a growing firm in the Private Equity sector who are expanding their communications function to strengthen its voice during a period of sustained growth and increasing national influence.
  
Working with a highly respected investment organisation operating at the heart of the UK growth economy, you’ll help shape how ambitious businesses, regional success stories, and long-term economic impact are represented in national conversation. This is a senior, visible role with genuine influence, autonomy, and access to decision-makers.
  
The Communications Lead will act as the strategic owner of external communications, positioning the organisation as a trusted authority on business growth, investment, and regional economic impact.
  
Role Highlights
The Communications Lead will oversee and deliver impactful communications by:
– Providing senior counsel on corporate communications and reputation management
– Managing national and regional PR agencies against clear strategic objectives
– Driving proactive media engagement across deal, corporate, and insight-led stories
– Expanding coverage beyond announcements into SME and mid-market thought leadership
– Leading sponsorships, awards, and advocacy initiatives to enhance visibility
  
You Will Need
The Communications Lead will bring the following experience and capabilities:
– 10+ years’ experience in PR, corporate communications, or media relations
– Experience in Financial Services, Private Equity, Venture Capital gained agency or client-side
– Strong understanding of the UK business, SME, or investment landscape
