We're partnered with a big name in the PE/VC space looking to bolster their Community & Value Creation function.
This person will be responsible for engaging the fund's network of hundreds of portfolio companies, delivering high-quality events, workshops and community experiences that genuinely drive value. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves being hands-on, spinning plates, and making things happen. You'll get the chance to work with a genuinely world-class team, and plenty of exposure to the UK's innovation industry.
The Event Manager will:
• Deliver high-quality events, workshops and community initiatives that strengthen engagement across the portfolio.
• Help scale the community programme through hands-on delivery and relationship management.
• Work closely with the Value Creation team to execute content and initiatives including webinars, toolkits and frameworks.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment, adapting to shifting needs throughout the day.
Required skills and experience:
• 3–5+ years’ experience in event delivery and community engagement, ideally within the startup or scale-up ecosystem, or a fund.
• Experience working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and confidence juggling varied priorities.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage founders and operators across a wide portfolio.
• Genuine interest in entrepreneurship and value creation.
• Proactive, independent and comfortable owning mistakes and learning on the job.
