If you thrive in fast-paced eCommerce environments and love owning complex CRM projects end to end, this contract could be your ideal next move. Our client – a well-established digital retail brand – is seeking a CRM Lead to help steer data-led customer engagement and retention during their busiest trading period. You’ll have full scope to shape strategy, streamline platforms, and drive measurable impact across millions of customer interactions.
  
The CRM Lead will work closely with the Senior CRM Manager to optimise customer journeys, manage CRM platforms, and oversee a major ESP migration. This is a highly autonomous, hands-on role where you’ll influence technical direction and bring ideas to life through testing, data, and creative experimentation.
  
Role Highlights
– Oversee day-to-day management of CRM systems and integrations, ensuring scalability and stability.
– Lead the migration to a new ESP, managing partners, timelines, and data integrity.
– Design, optimise, and automate key lifecycle and triggered communications.
– Analyse performance across channels, identifying opportunities for retention and engagement.
– Collaborate with legal and data teams to maintain GDPR and privacy compliance.
  
You Will Need
– 7-10 years’ CRM/email marketing experience, ideally in an eCommerce setting.
– Deep understanding of JOINs, APIs, segmentation, and large-scale data structures (1 mil+)
– Strong technical knowledge of HTML/CSS with familiarity across other coding languages.
– Proven record in testing, analysis, and technical problem-solving.
– Confident communicator with solid management and stakeholder-handling skills.
– Experience with Cheetah Digital (Marigold) or Fresh Relevance preferred. Otherwise, platforms such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Pardot will be considered.
