DIGITAL/ECOMMERCE DESIGNER - PREMIUM CONSUMER BRAND (SCALE-UP)

We're working with an ambitious, founder-led consumer brand entering a significant period of growth. With a strong premium proposition, an established customer base and ambitious plans for scale, they're now rebuilding their marketing function and looking for their first in-house designer.

This is a genuinely hands-on opportunity for a designer who wants to have a visible impact on a growing business. You'll sit at the intersection of ecommerce, performance marketing, CRM and brand, helping shape how customers experience the brand from first interaction through to purchase and beyond.

You'll have significant autonomy, direct access to the founders and the opportunity to build the creative foundations that will support the next stage of the company's growth.

What they need -
  • Someone who can own digital creative across the customer journey, with proven experience creating work across paid social, ecommerce landing pages, CRM/email, social and wider marketing channels - think digital brand guardianship (with some ad-hoc print responsibility)
  • A designer with strong commercial instincts, who understands that great creative needs to capture attention, communicate clearly and ultimately encourage customers to convert, with the ability to learn from performance and continually improve the work
  • Someone comfortable designing for premium ecommerce brands, with a strong eye for visual quality and the ability to balance conversion, usability and brand rather than defaulting to purely functional or overly performance-led creative
  • Someone who enjoys being close to the work, capable of taking an idea from brief and concept through to finished execution while managing multiple priorities in a small, fast-moving environment
  • An established designer, who can build rather than simply maintain, excited by the opportunity to become the first in-house designer, establish creative systems and templates, and help shape how the brand evolves as the wider marketing team grows

What you're great at -
  • Strong digital design for another online retail brand, across paid social, performance marketing, e-commerce, landing pages, websites, CRM/email, organic social and campaign creative
  • Excellent working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and/or comparable design tools, with the flexibility to work across whatever platforms best support the output
  • Understanding of responsive digital design, UX/UI principles, page hierarchy, usability and conversion-focused landing pages, with experience working alongside developers to bring designs to life
  • Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo or comparable e-commerce/CRM platforms would be highly valuable, although platform expertise isn't essential
  • A confident approach to AI-enabled design and creative production - using emerging tools intelligently to speed up ideation and execution without compromising taste, judgement or brand quality
  • Strong portfolio evidence showing commercially focused digital work, ideally demonstrating the thinking behind the creative and, where possible, the impact it achieved
  • Motion, animation or video editing skills would be a bonus, but aren't essential

What you'll get -
  • Central London location, close to Oxford Circus, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office
  • Benefits TBC
  • The opportunity to become the first in-house designer and have genuine ownership over the creative output of a growing consumer business.

We're open to speaking to midweights as well as mid-senior designers. Salary DOE.
