Director of Technical Product Marketing
London | Hybrid / Office-based
AI Infrastructure / Data Centres / Cloud
Senior Individual Contributor / Director level
We're working with a fast-growing technology company building next-generation infrastructure for the AI era.
They're looking for a Director of Technical Product Marketing to take complex technical products and turn them into clear, credible and compelling stories for the market.
This is not a traditional Product Marketing role focused heavily on personas, launch processes and sales decks. It's also not a pure technical writing position.
Instead, you'll sit close to engineering, product and leadership, understand what is genuinely differentiated about the technology, and translate that into content and narratives that resonate with sophisticated technical and commercial audiences.
The Role
You'll become one of the key people responsible for how the company explains its technology to the outside world.
You'll spend significant time with engineers, product leaders, architects and technical executives, asking questions such as:
What You'll OwnTechnical Product Narrative
Develop the positioning, messaging and technical narratives across the company's infrastructure and product offering.
You'll translate complex architecture and engineering decisions into stories that customers, partners, analysts and executives can understand without oversimplifying the technology.
Technical Content & Thought Leadership
Create high-quality technical and commercial content, including:
Website & Product Storytelling
Work across product, design and marketing to make sure the website clearly communicates what the technology does, why it matters and how it differs from alternatives.
You'll turn internal product reality into technically credible, commercially useful external messaging.
Executive & Speaking Content
Help build the technical substance behind executive communications, including keynotes, panels, podcasts, industry events, executive posts and strategic thought leadership.
You'll help develop the thesis, technical argument, proof points and story behind these opportunities.
Customer Stories & Proof
Work with sales, solutions and customer teams to uncover the strongest customer stories.
You'll identify what problem existed, what was deployed, what changed and why it mattered, then turn those insights into compelling case studies and market-facing content.
What We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in people with:
Coding experience, or experience using AI-assisted coding tools, would be particularly interesting.
Particularly Relevant Backgrounds
Experience in any of the following would be highly relevant:
AI infrastructure | Data centres | Cloud infrastructure | Developer platforms | Data infrastructure | Cybersecurity | HPC | Networking | Kubernetes | GPUs | MLOps | Enterprise infrastructure | Telecoms | Semiconductors
You might currently be working within a high-growth technology company, infrastructure provider, developer-focused business or highly technical agency.
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to join a company operating at the heart of one of the fastest-growing areas of technology and have significant ownership over how its technology is understood by the market.
You'll work directly with technical and senior leadership, get close to the products being built, and have the freedom to create a genuinely differentiated technical voice rather than simply executing a traditional PMM playbook.
