Director of Social Media & Technical Communications London | Hybrid
£100,000–£150,000 + shares + benefits

I’m working with one of the most exciting businesses in the AI infrastructure space as they continue to scale their marketing team.

They’re looking for a senior Social Media & Communications leader to take ownership of how the business – and its executive team – shows up externally.
This isn't a traditional social media role.

You’ll sit at the intersection of social, technical storytelling, executive communications and thought leadership, taking genuinely complex technology and turning it into content and narratives that people actually want to engage with.

You’ll own the social strategy across channels including LinkedIn, working across both the corporate brand and senior leadership profiles.
A big part of the role will be executive communications – helping senior leaders develop their voice, ghostwriting content, identifying timely industry angles and positioning them within the conversations happening across AI and technology.
You'll also work closely with technical teams across product, engineering and infrastructure to understand what they're building and translate it into compelling external communications.

Beyond social, you'll help build a much broader visibility engine – identifying speaking opportunities, podcasts, panels, awards and industry conversations where the company and its leadership should have a presence.
They're looking for someone who:
• Has strong experience across B2B technology communications, social, content or executive communications
• Has worked with complex or technical products and audiences
• Is genuinely hands-on and an exceptional writer
• Understands how to build the profile and voice of senior executives
• Is social-native and understands what makes content travel
• Is comfortable working closely with technical teams
• Has the autonomy and creativity to build something rather than inherit a finished playbook
• Ideally comes from AI, cloud, infrastructure, developer tools, cybersecurity, data, semiconductors or another complex B2B technology environment

You don't need to be an engineer, but you do need to be technically curious.
This would suit someone currently operating at Senior Manager, Head of or Director level who wants the opportunity to build a communications function around one of the fastest-moving areas in technology.

Salary is £100,000–£150,000 depending on experience, alongside shares and a wider benefits package.
If this sounds like you, drop me a message and I can tell you more.
