About the Company

This is a well-established organisation that connects specialist consultancies and technology providers with the UK public sector through a portfolio of government frameworks. Operating across a broad mix of digital, IT, business and management consultancy routes, the company facilitates compliant access to buyers in central government, the NHS, and local authorities.
With more than £30m in annual turnover and a network of hundreds of industry partners, the organisation is financially strong and now gearing up for its next growth phase and targeting £50m+, new framework wins, renewals, and sector expansion.

The Role

This is a senior, hands-on position for someone who knows how to win frameworks — and how to build the systems that make winning scalable. You’ll lead from the front, shaping strategy, writing high-quality submissions, and ensuring the organisation consistently secures and maintains high-value public-sector framework positions.
You’ll work as part of a small, experienced management team, drawing on established IP and proven methodologies to identify, target, and secure new routes to market. It’s a blend of leadership, delivery, and relationship management: driving bid activity, maintaining strong ties with framework authorities, and ensuring existing frameworks remain active, compliant, and commercially optimised.
You’ll also oversee a pool of specialist associates, bringing in experts to strengthen bid responses and support ongoing framework delivery. As the organisation evolves, you’ll play a key role in enhancing AI-driven content, analytics, and evaluation tools to further sharpen targeting and improve bid performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the sales pipeline of upcoming framework opportunities, including leading early-stage engagement with framework providers.
  • Shape and deliver framework bids, contributing to writing and reviewing as needed.
  • Own relationships with framework authorities once frameworks are secured.
  • Act as the internal subject-matter authority, providing guidance to colleagues, customers, and delivery partners.
  • Ensure frameworks are maintained, renewed, and commercially aligned to business growth plans.
  • Deploy and manage specialist associates to support bids and framework delivery.
About You

You’re an experienced public-sector frameworks specialist with a strong track record winning CCS, NHS, or local-government routes. You’re as comfortable writing and managing bids as you are advising senior stakeholders and building collaborative relationships across government and industry.
You bring:
  • Proven experience winning UK public-sector frameworks and leading bid activity.
  • Strong bid writing, bid management, and consulting capability.
  • Good understanding of digital, IT, and business-consultancy services.
  • Confidence engaging at senior levels with authorities and suppliers.
  • Broad knowledge of government policy, good practice, standards, governance, and commercial methods — plus curiosity and capability to use AI tools to enhance insight and delivery.
  • Ambition to help shape a £50m-plus business, including the potential for future equity participation.
Why This Role?

You’ll be joining a profitable, well-established business at a pivotal moment in its growth trajectory. As Frameworks Director, the frameworks you secure and steer will directly influence strategy, revenue, and how the organisation operates over the coming years.
If you want a role with autonomy, senior visibility, and the chance to build something that lasts, this is it.
