This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest-growing fintech businesses at a pivotal stage of its growth. Following significant expansion, strategic acquisitions and major investment in both brand and digital capability, our client is looking for an ambitious Head of Digital Marketing to build and lead its customer acquisition strategy.

This is a newly created leadership role, created because the business has reached a scale where digital growth is now one of its most commercially important functions. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll have genuine ownership, the freedom to shape strategy and a clear opportunity to progress into a future senior Digital Marketing Director role. My client is also open to considering Senior Digital Marketing Managers who are ready to take the next step into their first Head of Digital Marketing leadership role.

The Head of Digital Marketing (Performance) will own the end-to-end acquisition funnel, driving growth from first impression through to customer onboarding and activation while building a high-performing digital marketing function.

Role Highlights
  • Own the direct-to-consumer acquisition strategy across paid social, search and emerging digital channels.
  • Manage significant marketing budgets, continually optimising CAC, CPA, ROAS and lifetime value.
  • Develop and optimise the entire acquisition funnel, improving customer journeys, landing pages and onboarding experiences.
  • Build robust attribution, experimentation and reporting frameworks that drive confident commercial decision-making.
  • Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing digital marketing team while partnering closely with Product, CRM, Analytics and Executive leadership.
You Will Need:
  • Proven experience scaling customer acquisition within a high-growth consumer technology, fintech, marketplace or app-based business.
  • Extensive hands-on expertise across Meta, Google Ads and modern performance marketing channels.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing substantial acquisition budgets and investment decisions.
  • Advanced analytical capability, including experimentation, attribution modelling, incrementality testing and SQL.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the confidence to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when needed.
Why You'll Love It:
  • Genuine opportunity to progress into a future Digital Marketing Director
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership with real influence over commercial strategy and business growth.
  • Significant ownership of one of the company's most commercially important functions.
  • The opportunity to build and shape a high-performing digital marketing team.
  • High levels of autonomy within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial business.
  • Competitive bonus scheme that rewards exceptional performance.
  • Share options, allowing you to share in the company's continued success.
  • Join a profitable business experiencing exceptional year-on-year growth.
  • Work with substantial marketing budgets and major brand investment.
  • Build a best-in-class acquisition function capable of delivering long-term, scalable growth.
You'll Thrive Here If:
  • You enjoy building rather than maintaining.
  • You're driven by measurable commercial outcomes rather than vanity metrics.
  • You thrive in fast-growth environments where pace, ambition and accountability are part of everyday life.
  • You're equally comfortable defining strategy and rolling up your sleeves to optimise campaigns.
