We’re delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing fintech scale-up making cross-border payments seamless across Sub-Saharan Africa. Already profitable with major international clients onboard, they are entering an exciting growth phase where brand awareness and demand generation will be key.

With strong product-market fit and the freedom to build from the ground up, this is a rare opportunity to own and shape the marketing function at a business set to define payments in one of the world’s most dynamic regions.

The Head of Marketing will design and execute the company’s B2B marketing strategy, scaling demand generation and launching high-impact brand campaigns.

You’ll collaborate closely with Sales and Product, driving measurable impact across awareness, engagement, and commercial performance, while building and leading a high-performing marketing team.

The Head of Marketing will:
  • Drive brand presence across Sub-Saharan Africa through digital, content, events, and sponsorships.
  • Build a scalable demand generation strategy with a strong ABM focus.
  • Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Align with Sales and Product on go-to-market messaging and ICP definition.
  • Track and optimise marketing performance, using data to inform strategy and ROI.
  
Required skills and experience:
  • Proven track record in B2B marketing within tech start-ups or scale-ups.
  • Experience building demand generation strategies from scratch.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience growing or managing teams.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent communicator, confident working cross-functionally and across time zones.
