Due to the high volume of applications, we are only able to respond to successful candidates.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced interim performance marketing specialist to join one of the UK's fastest-growing fintech businesses during a pivotal phase of growth and transformation.

Following significant expansion, strategic acquisitions and continued investment across brand and digital, the business is looking for a senior consultant who can provide immediate strategic leadership, identify opportunities for rapid improvement and deliver measurable commercial impact from day one.

This assignment has been created to provide experienced leadership while the business recruits a permanent performance marketer at a more junior level. You'll bring the strategic expertise, commercial thinking and hands-on capability needed to strengthen the function, optimise performance and leave behind scalable frameworks that enable long-term success.
Working closely with senior leadership, you'll act as a trusted advisor while remaining close enough to execution to ensure initiatives are delivered at pace.

As the Interim Performance Marketing Consultant, you'll take ownership of the customer acquisition strategy, quickly assessing current performance, identifying areas for optimisation and implementing initiatives that drive immediate commercial results.
Alongside delivering growth, you'll establish the processes, reporting and strategic direction that create a strong foundation for the incoming permanent hire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, optimise and strengthen the end-to-end customer acquisition strategy across paid search, paid social and emerging digital channels.
  • Deliver immediate improvements across customer acquisition, conversion rates, CAC, CPA, ROAS and lifetime value.
  • Assess the existing marketing operation, identifying quick wins alongside longer-term strategic opportunities.
  • Develop robust attribution, reporting and experimentation frameworks to improve commercial decision-making.
  • Optimise the customer journey, from first engagement through onboarding and activation.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Product, CRM, Analytics and Leadership to align digital growth with wider commercial objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance, documentation and knowledge transfer to ensure a smooth transition to the permanent team structure.
You'll Bring
  • Proven experience delivering measurable commercial impact within interim, consultancy or transformation-focused marketing roles.
  • A track record of scaling customer acquisition within high-growth fintech, consumer technology, marketplace or app-based businesses.
  • Deep hands-on expertise across Meta, Google Ads and modern performance marketing channels.
  • Strong commercial judgement with experience managing significant acquisition budgets and investment decisions.
  • Advanced analytical capability, including attribution modelling, experimentation, incrementality testing and SQL.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, thriving in environments where pace and impact matter.
Why This Assignment?
  • A genuine opportunity to influence commercial performance from day one.
  • Direct access to senior leadership and key decision-makers.
  • Significant autonomy to assess, shape and improve a business-critical growth function.
  • Join a profitable fintech experiencing exceptional year-on-year growth.
  • Deliver meaningful results while creating the foundations for long-term success beyond your assignment.
  • A high-impact interim engagement where your expertise will leave a lasting legacy.
You'll Thrive Here If
  • You enjoy solving complex commercial challenges and delivering rapid results.
  • You're motivated by leaving businesses in a stronger position than you found them.
  • You can quickly assess, prioritise and execute in fast-paced environments.
  • You're comfortable advising at a senior level while remaining hands-on when required.
  • You enjoy creating scalable processes, frameworks and strategies that enable others to succeed after your assignment ends.
If you're an experienced interim performance marketing professional looking for a high-impact assignment where your expertise will shape both immediate growth and long-term capability, we'd love to hear from you.
