This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the quality, consistency, and accuracy of proposal and marketing content used in RFPs, DDQs, and other client deliverables. The ideal candidate has experience in asset management or private markets, excellent writing and editing skills, and a strong understanding of the RFP process and investment terminology.

The Opportunity
The firm is seeking a RFP Content Manager (Contractor) to support the global business development and client communications teams. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the quality, consistency, and accuracy of proposal and marketing content used in RFPs, DDQs, and other client deliverables. The ideal candidate has experience in asset management or private markets, excellent writing and editing skills, and a strong understanding of the RFP process and investment terminology.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update the firm’s centralized RFP content database, ensuring information is accurate, current, and aligned with brand and compliance standards.
- Draft, edit, and proofread written responses for RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs across multiple investment strategies and regions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (investment, operations, risk, compliance, ESG, and technology teams) to source, verify, and refine content.
- Support proposal writers and sales teams by organizing and tagging content for easy retrieval and re-use.
- Track and implement updates following product changes, firm initiatives, and regulatory developments.
- Drive content governance best practices, including version control, periodic reviews, and audit readiness.
- Assist with the enhancement of templates, tone of voice guidelines, and process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency across materials.
- 5+ years of experience in RFP content management, investment writing, or marketing communications within asset management, private markets, or a related financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of institutional investment products and terminology.
- Experience with RFP automation or content management platforms (e.g., Loopio, Qvidian, RFPIO, or similar).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to synthesize technical and financial information into clear, concise, client-ready language.
- Highly organized and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Experience supporting private equity, private credit, or multi-manager investment strategies.
- Familiarity with ESG and DEI reporting frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, finance, marketing, or a related discipline.
