With an established direct sales operation already delivering results in London, the business is expanding into Manchester and offers you the chance to shape a new regional team, develop talented brand ambassadors and play a hands-on role in ambitious growth.
The Sales Team Leader will drive customer acquisition and retention while building, coaching and motivating a freelance sales team across events, festivals and consumer activations. You'll combine personal sales targets with team leadership, giving you the opportunity to make a measurable impact from day one.
Role Highlights
- Build and develop Manchester's first regional direct sales team, setting clear expectations and creating a positive team culture.
- Lead by example on event shifts, engaging prospective customers and converting conversations into sales.
- Coach brand ambassadors through practical training, regular feedback and recognition to improve individual and team performance.
- Coordinate event logistics, including stand set-up, breakdowns, staffing rotas and contractor arrangements.
- Monitor sales results, prepare daily reports using Google Sheets and organise team excursions and social activities.
You Will Need
- At least one year of face-to-face sales experience, with a genuine drive to achieve and exceed targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire, support and develop people.
- Excellent organisation and time management, balancing multiple priorities and event deadlines.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to unexpected challenges and changing plans.
- Previous leadership experience is advantageous, as is a clean UK driving licence.
Why You'll Love It
- Real ownership: Build a regional team and establish the foundations for its future success.
- Performance rewards: Benefit from a competitive salary and bonus structure linked to sales performance.
- Work-life balance: Enjoy 25 days' annual leave, bank holidays and an additional day off for your birthday.
- Team connection: Take part in regular team and company socials while helping create a supportive working culture.
- The right tools: Receive a MacBook Pro and benefit from daily guidance from an experienced London-based team.
You'll work five days per week, including a mix of weekdays and weekends aligned with event bookings. The role is primarily field-based, with one home-working day each week and a monthly trip to the central London office, with expenses covered.
