Senior Bid Executive
Bristol
£40,000–£50,000

Why this role?

We’re working with a standout UK law firm that genuinely gets bids. They’ve built an award-winning team that’s central to the firm’s growth—and this is your chance to step into a high-impact role where your work is respected, valued, and championed from the top down.
They’re now looking for a Senior Bid Executive to help drive high-quality public sector tenders (think NHS, local/central government, social housing), and shape strategic bids from start to finish.

What you’ll be doing
  • Own the bid process – from expression of interest to final submission, juggling multiple deadlines with confidence
  • Write, edit and polish content that’s persuasive, on-brand and aligned to client needs
  • Project manage timelines, inputs and stakeholders across the business
  • Support on frameworks – working closely with the BD team and wider legal functions
  • Spot opportunities to improve win rates, content libraries and internal processes
You’ll be part of a close-knit, collaborative bid team that regularly outperforms industry benchmarks—with a 50%+ win rate that speaks for itself.

What we’re looking for
  • A bid or proposal background, ideally in professional services or public sector
  • Strong writing, editing and project management skills—you keep people and deadlines on track
  • Someone who can work proactively and independently, but who thrives in a collaborative team
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked on legal frameworks or public sector tenders before
  Why this firm?
  • A Head of BD who backs the bid team and has shifted the culture across the business
  • A flexible role (1 day a week in the office—but open to what works for you)
  • Clear communication, low ego culture, and visible leadership support
  • A real opportunity to shape how the firm shows up to market
