Location: Birmingham – Hybrid working (2 days in the office)

About the Company A highly respected professional services organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Bid Executive to join its established business development team due to continued growth.

The Role This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful bids team, taking ownership of complex, high-value tender submissions and strategic business opportunities. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will play a key role in developing winning bid strategies, producing compelling proposals and helping to secure new business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end management of complex bids and tender submissions
  • Develop bid strategies and win themes to maximise success
  • Write, edit and proof high-quality tender responses, executive summaries and proposal documents
  • Analyse tender documentation, client requirements and evaluation criteria to develop winning response plans
  • Coordinate contributions from subject matter experts and key stakeholders throughout the bid process
  • Manage bid review sessions and support interview preparation where required
  • Ensure all submissions are compliant, persuasive and delivered within strict deadlines
  • Identify opportunities to improve bid processes, content and best practice across the team
  • Maintain and develop bid library content, case studies and supporting documentation
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing complex bids and tender submissions from qualification through to submission
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to develop winning bid strategies
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines whilst building strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Experience within a professional services, consultancy or legal environment would be advantageous
