The Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales) will play a crucial role in the North American public sector team, working at the intersection of strategy, technology, and trust. This is a high-impact role that puts you in front of decision-makers across government departments, where your ability to demystify complex systems will directly influence client confidence and commercial success.
The Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales) will:
– Own the technical pre-sales journey from RFP through to tailored demos and POCs
– Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Architecture teams to shape compelling solutions
– Deliver standout product presentations, connecting features to tangible public sector impact
– Guide prospects through clear, value-led solution strategies
– Support technical discovery and define smart, scalable approaches to client needs
You Will Need:
– 5+ years’ experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting
– Track record working with government agencies (e.g. tax, fraud, or border risk)
– Strong communicator who can simplify complexity for technical and non-technical audiences
– Hands-on involvement in POCs, RFIs/RFPs, or early implementation phases
– Knowledge in data-driven platforms such as entity resolution, analytics, or MDM
