The Economy Manager will lead programmes and partnerships that strengthen the area’s economic ecosystem, ensuring the district remains globally competitive across hospitality, retail, culture, leisure and office sectors.
  
Role Highlights
– Lead projects that strengthen high street vitality and support the growth of the 24-hour economy
– Deliver initiatives aligned with long-term place-shaping and economic strategies
– Manage budgets, contracts and project delivery to ensure measurable outcomes
– Build partnerships with businesses, landowners, government bodies and sector organisations
– Represent the organisation at forums and events, championing the area’s economic vision
  
You Will Need
– Experience leading economic development or place-based programmes
– Proven ability to deliver projects within complex multi-stakeholder environments
– Experience developing sector partnerships that support economic growth
– Ability to translate data and research into strategic insight and narrative
– Strong written and verbal communication skills with confident stakeholder engagement
