The Visitor Experience Manager will provide operational leadership across the visitor experience function, ensuring exceptional service standards while supporting a busy site through a period of change. You'll become a visible presence across the estate, working closely with operational teams to deliver a safe, engaging and memorable experience for every visitor.
Role Highlights
- Lead the day-to-day operation of a busy visitor attraction.
- Coordinate and support a large casual workforce across multiple visitor-facing areas.
- Deliver regular team briefings and maintain excellent communication across departments.
- Resolve operational challenges quickly while maintaining exceptional visitor standards.
- Participate in a weekend management duty rota (approximately two weekends per month with time off in lieu).
- Previous experience within a visitor attraction, heritage site, leisure venue or similar public-facing environment.
- A proactive, self-starting approach with the confidence to work independently.
- Strong leadership skills with experience motivating operational teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A practical, hands-on attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- £40,000–£50,000 salary.
- Six-month fixed-term contract with an immediate start available.
