The Visual Designer will transform complex data and editorial ideas into engaging, interactive visual experiences that elevate storytelling for a global audience.

Role Highlights
– Design interactive digital features and immersive online articles
– Build tools and visual trackers that support investigative reporting
– Rapidly produce visuals for breaking news and developing stories
– Create responsive graphics using modern front-end technologies
– Partner closely with reporters, editors and data specialists

You Will Need
– Strong digital design background within news, media or publishing
– Expertise using Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator and Photoshop
– Experience building interactive graphics using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
– Familiarity with tools such as Flourish, AI2HTML or similar visual platforms
– Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-pressure newsroom
