Supporting sustainable ecommerce growth
Ancient + Brave is a founder-led business that had never worked with a recruitment agency before. However, their recent investment from Piper meant they had to ensure that they hired the right talent for sustainable growth.
Since the company was early in their growth, they were building a team structure from scratch and each role was newly created. With no prior knowledge to benchmark the roles against, they engaged our specialist ecommerce recruiters for our networks and knowledge of the sector.
Selling the business to future employees
Director, Adrian Ramani, led the search with the support of his team. At the start of the team build, our recruiters visited Ancient + Brave’s offices to spend time with the Founder and leadership team as well as external consultants. This allowed them to build a deeper understanding of the roles and how they would fit into the business. This included understanding their current company culture and the new culture they were helping to build.

We understand how important feedback is for scale-up brands. To ensure Ancient + Brave understood how prospective employees feel about their proposition, job descriptions and company culture, we created an honest feedback loop. Our recruiters shared weekly updates about the market to help with the current and future talent acquisition.
