We first started working with pet healthcare organisation, YuMOVE, in 2023. As long-term commercial recruitment partners, they recently engaged 3Search to support interim CRM hiring. Taylor Nash was introduced as a specialist partner able to advise on niche, high-demand skillsets and support them through a complex and fast-moving hiring requirement.

The story of YuMove

YuMOVE is a fast-growing pet wellness brand, focused on supplements designed to support joint health and overall mobility for pets. As the business continued to invest in loyalty marketing to maximise lifetime value, they needed to onboard additional CRM contractors to support the creation of a new loyalty scheme. 

With CRM playing a central role in customer engagement and revenue generation, strengthening this function became a key priority. 

Challenge: Building CRM capability during a period of change

YuMOVE needed to maintain momentum across their CRM strategy while navigating internal movement. 

This meant finding two interims: 

  1. Backfilling a CRM Manager role on a maternity cover basis 
  2. Hiring a Senior CRM Executive to support a newly developed loyalty proposition

They faced two key challenges in filling these roles: 

  • Interim CRM talent is highly competitive, particularly for candidates with both strategic and hands-on execution capability
  • The business needed to hire quickly without compromising on quality, while working within defined budget constraints

Failure to secure the right individuals risked delaying key initiatives, including the rollout of a new loyalty scheme.

  • Exploring 4-day work arrangements to secure more senior candidates within budget 
  • Reworking one of the positions when it became clear the original brief was not viable within budget

This enabled YuMOVE to remain competitive in securing high-quality candidates. 

Result: Two successful CRM contractors

3Search successfully delivered two CRM contractors (CRM Manager and Senior CRM Executive), enabling YuMOVE to: 

  • Maintain continuity within their CRM function
  • Successfully support the rollout of a new loyalty initiative 
  • Sustain performance during a period of internal transition
