Providing IW Capital with reliable marketing recruitment expertise

The story of IW Capital

IW Capital was founded in 2010, backing businesses across the healthcare, environmental, consumer and technology sectors. With an executive team boasting over 100 years of collective experience in SME investment, IW Capital is renowned for its leading expertise in structuring and delivering funding to SMEs.

With a focus on expanding their marketing capability, the venture capital firm was looking to onboard a Marketing Assistant. The firm already had a Senior PR and Communications Specialist in place, so the brief was to bring in someone who could focus purely on marketing delivery.

Challenge: Finding dedicated marketing recruitment support

The CEO was leading the recruitment process directly but needed a partner who could save him time by vetting candidates, providing industry insight, and accessing talent with relevant financial services experience.

Specialist marketing recruiter, Hannah Glazebrook, partnered with them on this search, leveraging her expansive network and tailored industry knowledge to find, assess and manage top talent.

Solution: A broad and agile search

Hannah carried out a wide search, considering candidates from recent graduates through to those with a couple of years of marketing experience. This enabled us to present a diverse shortlist for the CEO to review.

Result: A successful marketing hire

IW Capital successfully hired their new Marketing Assistant, providing the team with dedicated marketing support and freeing up senior resource to focus on strategy and communications.
