3Search has partnered with leading office design and build experts, Peldon Rose, for several years. Having built a strong relationship with the CEO and wider senior leadership team, we have placed a variety of marketing roles into the company.  

In 2025, our property, construction and design and build marketing recruitment consultants were engaged to support the delivery of a new team structure. The project began with a Fractional CMO engagement who we then partnered with to build the team.

The story of Peldon Rose

Founded in 1987, Peldon Rose is a leading workplace design and build consultancy. The company creates workplaces that deliver business value, while providing exceptional everyday experiences for the people who use them.

As the business evolved, leadership recognised the need to elevate the marketing function to support continued growth. Rather than hiring reactively, the team made a strategic decision to review the entire marketing structure and rebuild it properly.

Challenge: Designing and delivering a new marketing team structure

The starting point was clear: marketing activity was happening, but the structure did not fully support performance, accountability or specialist capability. To ensure the new team was built to deliver, we first introduced a Fractional CMO to assess the existing function, identify gaps, and recommend a future-state structure. 

Following this strategic review, the decision was made to build a new team model comprising: 

  • A Senior Marketing Manager focused on brand and content 
  • A Senior Digital Marketing Manager focused on data and performance 
  • Marketing Executives supporting execution and specialist areas, including content and thought leadership

All roles were based five days per week in Wimbledon, which required careful market positioning given location constraints. 

Solution: Specialist property recruitment support

Given the specialist nature of the design and build sector, the business valued working with recruiters who understand the nuances of property and construction marketing. Lucy Austin Hannaford, Charlotte Cozens and Sarah Jones brought that sector expertise and market insight. The specialist team delivered a structured, phased hiring approach aligned to the newly defined team design.

Given the five-day office requirement, we advised on market limitations and candidate expectations, ensuring that when strong candidates were identified, processes moved quickly to secure them.

Result: A clearly defined marketing team

Peldon Rose now operates with a clearly defined, specialist marketing structure aligned to growth objectives.
