The story of PensionBee

Challenge: Finding content talent with investment expertise and PensionBee’s tone of voice

PensionBee needed to hire two Senior Content Marketing Managers — one newly created role focused on strengthening investment-focused content, and another to replacement hire. 

These roles required a very unusual blend of skills: 

  • Strong investment knowledge (typically found in highly paid, corporate environments) 
  • The ability to adopt PensionBee’s transparent, educational and informal FinTech tone of voice 
  • Hands-on experience who would be able to produce customer-led, jargon-free content

Finding candidates with the right mix of expertise, tone, and salary expectations had proved difficult. PensionBee had already tried advertising directly but couldn’t attract suitable talent, leading them to partner with our FinTech marketing recruiters.
