The story of SBC

SBC is a global business connecting professionals across the gaming, betting, fintech, payments, affiliate, and entertainment sectors through events, media, and advisory services. Founded in 2009, the company’s purpose is to bring together people, ideas, and opportunities that help brands grow and innovate. 

Our partnership with SBC began with an executive search for a Digital Marketing Director. Since then, Michael, our Customer Director, has worked closely with their Director of People, Jonathan Max, to hire several roles across their marketing, sales and digital teams.

Challenge: Building a diverse, high-performing team across multiple specialisms

Following a period of expansion, SBC needed to hire across several functions from marketing and sales to content and creative. Many of these roles were new positions created to support growth across the company. 

However, across such a wide range of specialisms was proving difficult. The industry they operate in is quite niche, and the business is fairly unknown to those outside of the sector. As a result, they needed to partner with a recruitment agency who would be able to effectively represent their organisation, build interest among talent and supply strong pipelines across each specialist skill set.
