Our sales recruiters began working with Skill Dynamics, a specialist training provider for the trade compliance, supply chain, and procurement sectors, in 2025. To support continued expansion into the US market, they needed to engage experienced B2B Account Managers and Account Executives.

As a UK-founded company, they needed support in engaging candidates located in the States. Partnering with Andrew Stoves, we identified two excellent hires for the organization.

The story of Skill Dynamics

Skill Dynamics is a UK-based SaaS learning platform provider, offering high-impact digital procurement, trade compliance, and supply chain training for corporate teams. To date, they have rolled out personalized programs to over 320,000 students in over 520 companies. 

As they continue to expand their commercial footprint in the United States, they needed to hire an Account Manager and an Account Executive to strengthen the enterprise sales function.  

Challenge: Building a US sales team for a UK-founded business

The brief was specific and challenging, with both roles requiring experience within B2B EdTech, ideally selling SaaS learning platforms to large enterprise clients. This created a small and competitive talent pool. 

As a UK-founded business still developing its US presence, Skill Dynamics had struggled to attract and identify top-tier talent across the States. They needed a recruitment partner who understood the nuances of Go-To-Market hiring and could act as an extension of their internal team to deliver high-caliber candidates quickly. 

Solution: A retained search with structured communication

Skill Dynamics partnered with Andrew at 3Search on a retained basis to deliver both searches. 

The process began with a detailed session to understand the company’s culture, growth goals, and expectations for both roles. From there, Andrew ran a targeted US-wide headhunting campaign, widening the search beyond specific states to ensure access to the best available talent. 

Throughout the process, Andrew maintained weekly check-ins with the HR team and provided regular updates to the CRO, including feedback summaries, market insights, and candidate pipeline reports. This ensured transparency and alignment throughout the search. 

When the interview process shifted to include an in-person final stage, Andrew adapted timelines and candidate communication to keep the process moving smoothly. 

Result: Two key hires driving US growth

Within just six weeks, both the Account Manager and Account Executive roles were successfully filled. 

These appointments mark a significant step in Skills Dynamic’s US growth strategy, providing the commercial structure and customer engagement expertise needed to expand their enterprise partnerships and accelerate revenue.
