Toqio’s leadership team reached out to our Executive Search consultants following a successful raise. The business was looking to put significant investment into talent. This included hiring an International Marketing Director, who would be tasked with building and developing Toqio’s GTM strategy, and building a world-class demand generation funnel.

Executive Search Partner, Rowan Fisk, has spent the majority of the last 15 years working in the B2B financial services and technology industries. As a result, there was a candidate that immediately came to mind for the International Marketing Director job. Recently in the market, and formerly of Thought Machine, Klarna and Microsoft.
Alongside presenting a statement of work, Rowan flagged the candidate’s profile, suggesting that Toqio meet her as a benchmark. However, she was much more than a point of comparison. Both parties really liked each other and after a couple of meetings, an offer was extended, and swiftly accepted.
